Students need to get their material for the poster projects. This was due last week. You should have material organized and not cut and pasted from the internet. You need to understand what you are placing on your poster.

Students need to get their material for the career assignments. If you don't have access to a printer SEND IT TO ME at marilynsmith@ncsd.ca . You need pictures and text for your poster.

Students need to make sure they get their material for their Career Project. The research for this project is to be completed at home. All compiled material needs to be brought to school for tomorrow's class. STUDENTS WHO DO NOT HAVE ACCESS NEED TO STAY IN AFTER SCHOOL OR FOR LUNCH TOMORROW. We have already made arrangements. Students who are having trouble with printers may send material to me at marilynsmith@ncsd.ca for tomorrow's class.

Students need to start gathering the material for their career poster together. They are expected to bring some of the gathered material to school for the next class. They are to choose a profession, make a title, gather a picture(s), gather info on salary, where the job prospects are, info on the job skills, education required, etc. THIS MATERIAL WILL BE REQUIRED FOR MONDAY AND TUESDAY'S CLASSES.

Students will soon be getting an assignment relating to what career they would be interested in doing when they graduate. They will be responsible for doing some research AT HOME OR AT THE PUBLIC LIBRARY. If they cannot get access to a computer at either of these places, then they will need to set up a time at lunch or on Monday or Wednesday after school. The details for the assignment will be given out later.

We have now finished with Religion for the time being and will focus on completing the Real Game over the next two weeks. By January 31 we will be back to Social Studies for some time and do another Religion unit before or around Easter.
